Information We Collect from You

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide to us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email,) comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.

When you sign up for our newsletter, or to access the trade catalogue, or purchase items from the shop  we collect personal information you give us such as your name, telephone number, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to provide our services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

Use of Information

We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

  1. To provide and operate the Services;

  2. To provide our Users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;

  3. To be able to contact our Visitors and Users with general or personalized service-related notices and promotional messages;

  4. To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective services; 

  5. To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

We may contact you to alert you of any updates to the products we offer or to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail.

    To fulfil your order, you must provide www.rachelmeehan.co.uk  with certain information such as your name, email address, postal address, telephone number, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information (for a customised order) if you contact me directly.
    Why I Need Your Information and How I Use It
    I rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:
    • as needed to provide my services, such as when I use your information to fulfil your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support;
    • when you have provided your affirmative consent, which you may revoke at any time, such as by signing up for my mailing list;

    • as necessary for the purpose of my legitimate interests, if those legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights or interests, providing and improving my services. I use your information to provide the services you requested and in my legitimate interest to improve my services.

Information about my customers is important to my business. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:


• Service providers. I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as delivery companies. I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.

  • Access. You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information I hold about you by contacting me using the contact information below.

  • Change, restrict, delete. You may also have rights to change, restrict my use of, or delete your personal information. Absent exceptional circumstances (like where I am required to store data for legal reasons) I will generally delete your personal information upon request.

  • Object. You can object to (i) my processing of some of your information based on my legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.

  • Complain. If you reside in the UK &  EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.

 

Data Retention
Your personal information is only retained for as long as necessary to provide you with my services and as described in my Privacy Policy. However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. I generally keep your data for the following time period: 2 years.
